trulysos.com ("trulysos", "we", "us") is operated by [Your full name], as a sole proprietorship registered in India. This policy explains what we collect from buyers, shops, and individual sellers who use the site, and what we do with it.
From a buyer placing an order or expressing interest in a listing: your name, phone number, and (optionally) a delivery address or notes for the seller. No account or login is required to buy.
From a shop or seller: name, phone number, category, location, and your chosen PIN or password (stored as a one-way hash — we never store the PIN or password itself, and can't look it up even if asked).
We never collect or store payment details of any kind. Money for an order changes hands directly between buyer and seller — by cash or UPI — outside trulysos entirely; the platform never sees or touches it.
Solely to run the order itself: so a shop can see who ordered what and reach them, and so a buyer can track their order's status. Shop contact details are used to operate that shop's account and, for admin-assisted shops, to hand over login credentials.
Order details containing personal information (name, phone, address) are kept for 24 months from the order date, after which they're deleted or anonymised. Shop account details are kept for as long as the shop is active on the platform, plus a reasonable period after in case of disputes.
An order's details are shared only with the specific shop or seller that order was placed with — never with any other shop, and never sold or rented to advertisers or data brokers. Our data is stored with GitHub (a US-based infrastructure provider) as our backend; no separate analytics or advertising trackers are used on this site. We may disclose information if legally required to — for example, in response to a valid court or government order.
Shop PINs and passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not as plain text. Repeated failed login attempts lock an account temporarily. A buyer's order-tracking page requires the order ID and a typed phone number — never a link containing your phone number, to avoid it leaking through browser history, screenshots, or forwarding.
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@trulysos.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. (India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act formalises these rights in law from 13 May 2027 — we intend to honour requests in this spirit already.)
trulysos doesn't use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage is used only to remember the contents of your cart on this device — nothing is sent anywhere until you place an order.
